The right to life, quality of life is a gift bestowed on everyone by God and enshrined in the constitution of most nations of the world. This right has however been taken from many, either by their own acts and inactions or for some purely no fault of theirs. El-Yasadh Foundation was born out of the desire to see the gift of life cherished by all, regardless of one's social, economic or cultural standing. Established in 2011, El-Yasadh Foundation is registered as a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) under the laws of the Republic of Ghana with its main office located in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The foundation started from very humble beginnings, with support and funding from the personal resources of the founding members. As our activities expanded, and our outreach increased many more people got to know of the foundation and have from time to time supported us either in cash or in kind. El-Yasadh Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors made up of six (6) astute professionals and persons of high ethical standards. The board ensures all donations to the foundation are used in an efficient and effective way as well as maintain accountability for every amount spent. The management team comprises two persons with six (6) supporting staff.

The scriptures declare "if you don't love a brother or sister, whom you can see, how can you truly love God, whom you can't see?" - 1 John4:20.
